Resin Tinting

The art of a good resin tint is experience… it takes many boards to understand how resin flows, stain, the opacity and how different colours interact to come up with that exciting resin tint that is just what the customer was looking for. Whilst there are no guarantees with resin tints the more experience the gasser the closer they can come to the planned design. Really the random and variable nature of resin tinting is part of the attraction for some people… its that organic part of the custom surfboard process.

If you decide on a resin tint we will ask you for the colours you want included, normally 3 is the max (2 often looks better) and then the rest is down to our glasser’s experience and interpretation.
